Hybrid learning at the Duxbury Student Union was a fascinating journey of adaptability and growth. Students not only embraced new technology but also practiced advocating for themselves in ways we never expected. One of my favorite moments was coaching a second grader through downloading her work, saving it as a PDF, connecting to her home printer, and printing her assignments, all over Zoom and while her parents were working. Every day, students built independence, problem-solving skills, and confidence, proving that learning knows no boundaries

At just eight years old, Grady confidently navigates his schoolwork, completes assignments, and submits them independently—all with enthusiasm and a little light coaching. My goal was to create an engaging and informative resource for students and families, using clear explanations and strong visuals to ease any concerns about returning to school. As a result, our hybrid learning community thrived—staying connected, adapting seamlessly, and proving just how resilient we could be together.
Bringing the NannyTucket Experience to Life on YouTube
As Social Media Manager for NannyTucket, I launched a YouTube channel to showcase the heartwarming experiences of a live-in nanny and her nanny family. I filmed, edited, and produced engaging vlog-style videos that offered an authentic glimpse into the world of professional childcare. Ahead of the summer, I met with the SummerFam to discuss the projected schedule of this endeavor and settings I would keep in place to protect the families’ privacy. Prior to filming the day’s video, I would meet with the parents of all featured children and they would sign a release stating what they were comfortable with.
Balancing this creative endeavor with my full-time role as Family and Client Coordinator for high-profile families on Nantucket, I successfully built a digital presence that highlighted the joy, challenges, and unique bonds of nanny life.

From pool jumps to badminton matches and a dance party to end the night, it was another unforgettable day of summer magic!
